Rhythm Readers

Rythm Readers is a fun way to encourage even the youngest children to love books and reading. Singing, playing, and print awareness are just some of the skills pre-readers can develop that enhance the learning-to-read process. Studies have shown that children who regularly engage in these pre-reading skills – who recognize words, sounds, and letters – enter school ready to learn!

Starting June 23, caregivers can pick up a reading log for their 0-4 year old.  There are 8 blocks containing early literacy activities to help you and your child experience books in new ways. After completing each activity, color in the block. When you get to a star, bring the sheet to the library to receive a board or picture book. You can earn two new  books this summer to add to your child’s library!
