Educator Assignment Alerts

Educators & Libraries working together

We welcome the opportunity to collaborate with teachers and school librarians to meet student needs, and encourage you to complete and submit the online assignment alert form. This information will better help us serve your students.

  • Please contact the Library at least 7 days prior to the start of the assignment. With proper notification, our staff can provide the best possible access for all students seeking high demand materials.
  • We may place resources on reserve in the library and/or limit the number of books available for checkout.
  • Thank you for your cooperation.

Additional information can be sent via email to Andrea McCoy at amccoy@minlib.net (elementary schools) or Erica Cote at ecote@minlib.net (middle and high school).

If you’re ready to request an assignment alert – fill in the form here.

Class Visits to the Library

Make an appointment with a librarian for a fun and free class or preschool visit. We are happy to provide tours, library orientation, or library card signups for students. We can also do book talks, read a story, help with research, or add other components upon request. Please call or email at least a week in advance to schedule your visit.

Preschool and Elementary visits can be arranged by Andrea McCoy, Head of Children’s Services. She can be reached at 508-359-4544 or amccoy@minlib.net.

Middle and High School visits can be scheduled with Erica Cote, Teen and Tween Librarian. She can be reached at 508-359-4544 or ecote@minlib.net.
