Kids’ Programs

Programs at the Medfield Public Library

All programs are FREE thanks to the generosity of the Friends of the Medfield Library. Programs are generally held in the Children’s Room or the Meeting Room, however during the warm months some may be held outside on Gazebo Green.  Advance registration is required for certain programs, due to space and supplies being limited.  Feel free to contact us for more information.

CALENDAR OF EVENTS

There are so many great kids’ programs at the library!

For a full list of the library’s events, check our CALENDAR.

Tip: For a caregiver friendly format, switch to “Month View” & change “All Events” to “Children” in the drop down menu.

SUMMER READING

Stop by the Children’s Room any time the library is open to pick up everything you’ll need for this year’s Summer Reading Challenge

Today a Reader, Tomorrow a Leader

The Challenge is easy:

    • Read ANYTHING you want: Books, graphic novels, magazines…listen to audiobooks or have someone read to you!
    • Follow each Leader on the Trading Tracker to earn a prize: Pick up prizes in the Children’s Room throughout the summer.
    • Complete the whole challenge for a chance to win one of our Grand Prize Baskets: Baskets contain things like Games, LEGO sets, Park Street Books Gift cards and more. Return completed reading trackers by 8/16 to enter the Grand Prize Drawing.
    • Want more of a challenge? Ask about joining the Ladder of Leadership Challenge to increase your chances at winning a Grand Prize.
    • Not done by 8/16? You can still pick up regular prizes after the drawing is over.
    • Join throughout the summer: If you miss joining in June, you can still join throughout the summer.
