The library will partially re-open to the public beginning 9/10 for browsing, computer use and more on the first floor of the building with limited hours. A contactless pick-up option for holds will be available as well as our many virtual programs online! Library staff will be available by phone at 508-359-4544 and email at to answer questions.

Kids’ Summer Reading Program 2020

Once upon a time, the children of Medfield were eagerly awaiting the arrival of summer.

Imagine their delight to learn that the Kids’ Summer Reading Program was truly back and not just a fairy tale!

Program runs June 28th thru August 22nd.


To get started, register and print a Summer Reading Log below or plan to pick one up. Reading logs will be available at the library starting Thursday, June 25th. Pick one up anytime between 11-1 pm or 4-6 pm on Mondays thru Thursdays or anytime between 11-1 pm on Fridays and Saturdays. 

Try to have your reading log ready to go by June 28th! However, don’t worry if you can’t pick one up right away. Reading logs will be available to print out or pick up all summer!

Registration is not required in order to print out or pick up a reading log, however it is encouraged. By registering, you’re helping us know how many kids are interested in the Summer Reading Program!

Keep in mind that these age ranges are only suggestions.  Children of any age can choose the method that works best for them.

Once you’ve started earning prizes, come back here to complete the Summer Reading Prize Form. You can claim prizes up to four times this summer!
