  • GLAD – Works to end discrimination based on sexual orientation, HIV status, and gender identity and expression
  • Greater Boston PFLAG – Helps change attitudes and create an environment of understanding so that LGBTQ+ family members and friends can live in a world that is safe and inclusive
  • A Nurse’s Comprehensive Guide to Gender-Affirming Care – This guide gives an overview of the treatments and vocabulary involved in gender-affirming care, and highlights the importance of providing such care. Published as a resource for aspiring nursing students.

  • CDC resources for domestic violence
  • GLSEN – Strives to assure that each member of every school community is valued and respected regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity/expression

  • Shatterproof – A national nonprofit organization dedicated to ending the devastation addiction causes families.

Suicide & Self Harm Prevention

  • National Suicide Prevention Lifeline –  Available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  Call 988 or access the text and chat features at the link.
  • Crisis Text Line – According to the website, you can text anywhere, anytime, and receive a confidential text from a live, trained crisis counselor from their secure platform within minutes.
  • The Jed Foundation – A nonprofit that exists to protect the emotional health and prevent suicide for our nation’s teens and young adults.
